Multirotors

I’ve been obsessed with radio control things, electronics and programming since I was a kid so when I discovered you could build and program your own quadcopter and attach a go pro I must admit I got a little obsessed.  It’s been a massive learning curve but I’ll loved every minute of it.

Here is my current setup:

Copter on ground in air side Copter on ground in air futher Beach from Air-2 Field from the Air Awesome

Currently I’m running a MultiWii Scarab Metal Armour Quadcopter from multiwillCopter.com with an anti Vibration mount and Go Pro hero 2

My radio TX is a Fubata T8J using the FrSky Delta-8 (Fubata Rx was damaged it a crash) and I’m using the securitycamera2000 600TVL SONY SUPER HAD CCD D-WDR as my flight camera with a 5.8ghz Fatshark transmitter. I’m using a $10 easy capp USB recorder and an old Asus netbook as great as DVR and live view from the flight camera and the go pro to record the HD video.

It runs the open source MultiWii 2.2 software and flies amazingly on the default PIDs

You can view all my flight videos by clicking on the Quadcopter Category

I’ll be adding more video and info to this page the more I fly and learn.
